William Richard “Bill” Frisell (born March 18, 1951) is an American guitarist and composer.

One of the leading guitarists in jazz since the late ’80s Frisell’s eclectic music touches on progressive folk, classical music, country music, noise and more. He is known for using an array of effects (delay, distortion, reverb, octave shifters, and volume pedals, to name a few) to create unique sounds from his instrument.

Banco de Gaia is an electronic music band from England, formed by Toby Marks (born 1964, South London) in 1991.

The music of Banco de Gaia is best categorized as ambient dub, but Marks works to cross genres, often using Arabic and Middle Eastern samples against a bass heavy reggae, rock, or trance rhythm to produce deeply textured tracks that progress layer upon layer.

Air (sometimes spelled with all capital letters as AIR) is a French (from region Ile-de-France) music duo, consisting of Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel. The name AIR is a backronym for Amour, Imagination, Reve which translates to Love, Imagination, Dream.

AIR’s debut EP, Premiers Symptomes, was followed by the critically acclaimed album Moon Safari, the re-release of Premiers Symptomes, The Virgin Suicides (soundtrack), 10 000 Hz Legend, Everybody Hertz, Talkie Walkie, Pocket Symphony and Love 2.

Their most recent album, Pocket Symphony, was released on March 5, 2007. The album features former Pulp vocalist Jarvis Cocker and Neil Hannon of The Divine Comedy, and is produced by Nigel Godrich. AIR went on a European tour in March, followed by a North America tour that included an appearance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. In March 2008, they toured Australia for the first time with the V Festival.
